Dance Recital

The dance recital is one of my favorite things we do throughout the year. Each year the girls grow so much in their performances. This was the first year that all three kids were performing, so Nathan and I got to sit in the audience and just enjoy the show. They all did a great job!!!

They are already looking forward to dance starting up again in August! Thank you Miss Michelle for a great show!

Gymnastics Recital

As always, Rachel was shining in her gymnastics recital this year.

I think we would all love to be this flexible!

That's her in the middle. Great job Rachel!

More progress on the house

Slowly we are getting the house where we want it to be! here are a few of our recent updates.

Hailey and Alison's room is now lavender. The picture doesn't really do it justice--it is a great color AND it matches their chandelier. So cute!

New kitchen table

New bar stools. I love it when the kids sit here and talk to me while I cook :)
Last Christmas we received tickets for the whole family to see Wicked in Louisville in May. In December, that seemed like years away, but the date finally came! We had a FABULOUS day! We all loved the show (of course!) and had a fun dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe.

Hailey is still talking about the "green baby"

They thought Glinda was so funny and loved the part where Elphaba flies into the air. Of course, Alison has mastered the "toss toss" of her hair like Glinda. If you have seen the show you totally know what I am talking about :)

Thanks grandma and grandad for such a great Christmas present. We won't forget it!!!

Kindergarten Graduation

Kindergarten graduation was so cute! They did a little program, received diploma's, and had refreshments in the classroom. Such a fun day! We are proud of you Alison!

Showing off the new diploma

Mrs. Bell--the most amazing teacher in the world

The little graduate!

New Orleans

Nathan had a law conference at the end of May and I was lucky enough to be able to tag along--thanks to my AMAZING in-laws that came and watched the kids for 4 days :)

I love the French Quarter. It is seriously oozing with history! Little streets like this with the window boxes are my favorite.

Having lunch on Bourbon Street

Riverboat dinner cruise on the Mississippi River

Lower 9th ward. It is still SO sad to see how much devestation there still is 5 years post Hurricane Katrina.

Sandra Bullock's new house. Seriously! Gorgeous right!!!
